There is perhaps no better introduction to Schubert than the Trout Quintet, a charmingly exuberant piece of music featuring a gypsyish finale. Join guest pianist Xie Jing Xian and SSO musicians Chan Yoong-Han, Gu Bing Jie, Ng Pei-Sian and Yang Zheng Yi as they bring you this signature work. Opening this afternoon's concert is the String Quartet No. 3 by Brahms, which takes you back to the world of Mozart and Haydn.
