The exhibit marks a collaboration between Mandarin Oriental and Basics for Basics, where artist and filmmaker Sean Lee-Davies photographed 10 local women including journalist Desiree Au, top model Janet Ma and professional swimmer Stephanie Au. The images are featured in MO Bar and the hotel lobby, and are available for bidding from March 8 to 31.
“The photographs are not only beautiful artworks,” said Torsten van Dullemen, general manager of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. “They offer all of us an unusual insight into these extraordinary personal experiences, each woman’s dreams and the challenges they have overcome.”

Proceeds from the month-long initiative will be given to The Women's Foundation. The event also includes some rare opportunities for winning bidders, including an on-the-track experience with race car driver Denise Yeung and an exclusive mentoring session over breakfast or lunch with Quintessentially’s group CEO for Asia Pacific Emma Sherrard Matthew.
