Ahead of its showing at the hotly anticipated Baselworld 2012, Swiss manufacture de Grisogono has released the first teaser images of its latest women's tourbillon, the gorgeous Tondo Tourbillon Gioiello.

Hewing to de Grisogono’s signature high glamor aesthetic, the Tondo Tourbillon Gioiello swathes its new mechanical movement, an off-centre tourbillon at 8 o’clock, in an abundance of sparkling white diamonds. This timepiece also marks the first de Grisogono tourbillon created specifically  for women horological appreciators in mind.

The Tondo Tourbillon Gioiello has been envisioned as the first in a watch trilogy comprising white, black and brown diamond designs. This exquisite time-keeper, with its luminous mother of pearl dial, white diamond embellishment and daring design, reflects the de Grisogono brand’s confluence of technical prowess and high jewellery.
