Billed as one of the rarest and most important post-war Rolls-Royces in existence—only two specimens were ever built—a 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud with a built-in cocktail bar will go under the hammer at the upcoming RM Auctions in Monaco.
Dubbed the "Honeymoon Express" for its expansive boot with no rear seats, this 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud I Two-Seat Drophead Coupe boasts an electric hood, bespoke scarlet leather interiors, matching carpet and a body work swathed in a royal blue hue.
Its most striking feature? A pair of cocktail cabinets framing the rear storage area with a cocktail shaker and four crystal whiskey tumblers each. For the record, the Honeymoon Express also delivers 178 bhp with a 4,887cc F-head six-cylinder engine, two SU carburetors and a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission with electrically controlled shock absorbers, power-assisted steering, and power-assisted hydraulic front and hydro-mechanical rear drum brakes.
If you're shopping for the perfect couple's car, this exquisite automobile, which is expected to fetch at least £1million, is scheduled to be auctioned off on Saturday, May 12, 2012.
