Sir Paul Smith was in Singapore recently to inaugurate the opening of his label's new Mandarin Gallery flagship. The festive garden-themed party was replete with colorful cakes, champagne and a photo-ready "lawn" that was set up right outside the store.

The amiable host, who flew in specially for the event, was the consummate gentleman, greeting guests and fans of his brand, signing memorabilia and posing obligingly for the cameras for over two hours, all with hugs and smiles aplenty. The new shop, the fourth and largest in Singapore,carries an extensive range of men’s and women’s shoes and accessories from the Paul Smith collection, as well as select pieces from Paul Smith London, PS, Jeans and Black Label collection.
