Let us be one of the first to tell Mr. Tarhan Telli, that his motorcycle looks absolutely brilliant. Here it goes,
“Mr. Tarhan Telli, your motorcycle looks absolutely brilliant.”
The Turkish bike builder of TT Custom Choppers in Ankara, took more than a year to meticulously build his one-of-a-kind bike. A bike which, by the way, is being touted as the world’s most expensive motorcycle. Although a definitive figure has yet to be set for the price tag, experts claim that Tarhan Telli’s creation contains more than US$1 million worth of gold. There is little wonder then, that the motorcycle weighs approximately 318 kg.
The Turkish bike builder designed the bike with motifs inspired by the Greek mythological theme of ‘Medusa’. With an 1801cc v-twin engine producing 125 horsepower, and a 6-speed gearbox, the ‘Medusa’ seems to be a sweet ride – especially with its rustic, weather-beaten look. We have not seen anything like it.
Last we heard, Tarhan Telli was still awaiting word from the Guinness Book of World Records confirming that his creation trumps the current record holder. We say, out with the old and in with the gold…
