Futuristic Aesthetic: New Stuart Weitzman boutique designed by Zaha Hadid

Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid has designed an ultra-sleek boutique for shoe brand Stuart Weitzman in Hong Kong.

This is the shoe brand's second boutique in Hong Kong, located in the ultimate shopping destination, ifc mall. The collaboration marks Stuart Weitzman's committment to being at the forefront of design and style, and additional Zaha Hadid flagship stores are planned to be opened international in the next few years, beginning with stores in London and Beijing this year.

The store was unveiled in January this year, featuring an all-glass facade and the designers signature curved and fluid designs that play with geometry and rhythm. Furnishings feature fold and recesses with cut-outs, with seating made from fibreglass dipped in rose gold. Modular display units in a curve design entice the customer to have a look at the shoes showcased. The storewalls meanwhile are made of glass reinforced concrete in subtle monochromatic shades.
