Light oak wood has been lathe-turned into this delicate cylindrical sculpture. The oak is treated with a lime wash and its fissures are joined with dove tail inserts. The grooved surface of this 150 years old oak trunk has been painstakingly carved with precise laser techniques creating the appearance of a pulsating rhythm, following the organic life lines of the wood. The sculpture has a rich oak scent.
