With 23 corners, Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit is notable for being among the most physically challenging tracks on the F1 calendar, with 30 participating drivers representing Singapore, Japan, China, Australia, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the United States, Canada, Belgium and Sweden. Of course, the challenge comes with a good cause as Ferrari will be contributing to Singapore’s official charity organization, the President’s Challenge.

The adrenalin-pumping 5.065km circuit is the highlight of the new 488 Challenge, overlooking the harbour of the iconic Marina Bay. This year may also mark the last opportunity for Ferrari Challenge drivers to race on the Marina Bay street circuit.  Indeed, the challenge is the sixth model to participate in the one-make series, with this year marking its 25th anniversary.

The turbo-charged model is also the first one to race ever, and is currently the most powerful Challenge car ever, powered by the 670 cv 3.9-litre V8. Of course, the 488 Challenge is not without extensive developments from its engine to its aerodynamics and chassis, which has redeemed some fascinating new heights with a new record of 1’15.5” on the Fiorano lap.
