The Coolest Clubs In Singapore To Party And Be Seen At

Apart from Singapore's super club Zouk, here are six more hip party establishments in Singapore worth checking out.

#1: Headquarters by The Council

Unlike other clubs, the space here is stripped down to its rawest form - so don't expect any fancy chandeliers or posh decorations here. Founded by Eileen Chan and Clement Chin (the former is better known as DJ Cats On The Crack while the latter is the owner of Japanese restaurant, KOI Izakaya), the underground party spot offers range of genres, from house and techno to more niche sounds like tribal, acid and even disco. #2: Cherry Discotheque

Officially reopened with an entirely new space in the heart of the CBD at 133 Cecil Street, Cherry has taken over the space that was once Mao (and before that, Kyo) — all while keeping true to its signature gritty retro aesthetics and cool kid rep. Note: streetwear is optional, but seems to be the popular choice. And music-wise, they’re still all about bringing the old and new school hip-hop tracks together for a raucous night, with DJ Fvder helming the decks. 133 Cecil St, Singapore 069535

#3: Wan

The electrifying Asian theme of Wan’s interior  — think bold red neon signs that read “吃喝玩樂” (eat, drink, play, happiness) and dragon projections on the wall, complete with oriental backdrops — and its cheeky name play alluding to three Chinese meanings, 玩 (play), 晚 (night) and 碗 (bowl), is reason enough for you to check out this buzzing night club. Wan plays genres from house to electro, and also hosts international DJ personalities like Afrojack and Skytek. Note: there is a strict dress to impress code, and the creative eats from Wan's kitchen is a must try. 3 Temasek Boulevard, #01-434, Suntec City North Wing, Singapore 038983

#4: Kilo Lounge

Although it's moved to a new - and larger - space in Tanjong Pagar, Kilo Lounge still bears the same simple, un-fussy interior as its former Kallang address. It'll also continue to play host to a myriad of international and local DJs, featuring everything from dancehall to reggae and hip-hop. 21 Tanjong Pagar Road

#5: Fleek

If hip hop and R&B is your thing, then Fleek is definitely the club for you. One of the few spots in Singapore that focuses on hip hop music to the core with DJs Raw, Cherish and Pandemic Duo helming the decks, the wild neon aesthetics will not be the only thing keeping you on the dance floor all night. Previously located at Clarke Quay, the club has reopened at Raffles Boulevard, fronting an even more hole-in-the-wall vibe than before. 6 Raffles Boulevard, #01-05, 039594

#6: 360 Lounge

The relatively new 360 Lounge located on the 20th floor of Oxley Tower (talk about a view) has a sleek interior with both futuristic and retro undertones, but what's really worth checking out is its line-up that features both renowned DJs in the region, as well as new upcoming talents. They've also just collaborated with Singapore's young movers and shakers of the party scene, Demo, a monthly event where fashion meets art and music. 138 Robinson Road, Oxley Tower, #20-01, Lobby 2
