Culinary Stars Head Me@Oue’s One-Night-Only Seven-Course Dinner

This Friday, diners at Me@OUE are in for a treat, á la three culinary maestros, 2 Michelin-Starred Chef Chen Kentaro, Michelin-Starred Chef Jérémy Gillon and Chef Taro Takayama. Together they will combine their skills in Japanese, French and Chinese cuisine, unveiling seven-course masterpiece in an elegant evening.

Chef Gillon will start the night off dressing fresh oysters with his signature fresh herbs and greens, while Chef Takayama’s generous Autumn Delights unravels in a medley of succulent crab meat, red snapper sushi, steam duckling, tender Japanese asparagus shoot, pumpkin dumplings and more.

Chef Kentaro’s Tokyo Bay Shrimp Dumplings follows close, served steaming hot in superior yuzu broth. Chef Gillon will return, brandishing some classic Frog Legs served with a dash of Chestnut purée, cèpe mushroom, Iberico ham and a drizzle of coffee sauce.

Other highlights to look forward to include maitke and shitake mushrooms, steamed Codfish with a burst of citrusy ponzu sauce, and Chef Kentaro’s signature Szechwan Style Beef Cutlet served with pine mushrooms.

Of course, a dining experience is not without a resounding finish, as you will find in Chef Gillon’s masterpiece, a Mandarin Variation in vivacious splashes of orange and an unexpected Komb confit pairing.
