These Delvaux AW16 Bags are Simply Sophisticated

There is nothing quite like simplicity when it comes to the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection for Delvaux. In fact, one might go on and say that it’s the ultimate sophistication. With a hint of Art Deco madness and a whole lot of geometric consistency, the new Delvaux collection speaks precision, subtlety and originality, and still manages an easy elegance.

Supple structure

Delvaux has always been recognized for creating bold, solid and structured pieces, like the newly reinvented Tempête, which now comes in Mini. The Mini pulls a Goldilocks with a not-too-tiny and not-too-large, subtly sliding between Micro and the MM as “just right”.

The Minaudière Madame is a retelling of the 1920s Art Deco, sure to light up any room with its glamorous look, thanks to a plexiglass base covered in precious leathers including Alligator, Python, Galuchat and Lizard.

Refined palette

Nude, Végétal, Noir and Ivory are Delvaux’s more classic hues, but this season features a new palette. Enter Absinthe, Rose Candy, Rouge de Pourpre and Tourterelle as the sleek, stark yet subtle hues. Rouge de Pourpre and Tourterelle also feature a vibrant three-toned degradé effect for a bit of fun.

Exotic Finish

Extra attention is given to exotic leathers this season, which carry the collection as the season’s unmistakable star, their texture amplified more than ever.

Shades of Rouge de Pourpre and Tourterelle add a vibrancy to the Alligator Hurricane like never before, and breathes life into an Astrakan in Tourterelle which comes in three different tints of fur.
