Style alert! First lady Michelle Obama was caught being extra stylish in Austin, Texas at the South By Southwest (SXSW) Music, Film and Interactive Festival. The First Lady gave a SXSW Keynote address at the Austin Convention Center on March 16, while she was all decked out in a custom 3.1 Phillip Lim dress.

The navy pinstripe linen dress perfectly captures the essence of easy elegance with an aura of business chic, styled with Mrs. Obama’s effortless confidence. The dress first hit the runway in the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2016 Collection, better known as “Look 31”. Clean and minimal, the dress injects a playful trajectory, cascading down in playful skirt ruffles and quirky asymmetry. The pinstripe dress is available at 3.1 Phillip Lim Hilton Hotel, and retails for $695.

In her Keynote speech, Mrs. Obama discusses a White House initiative devoted to educating young girls globally, better known as Let Girls Learn. The campaign is better known as #62MillionGirls on social media, and like its name suggests, there are over 62 million girls worldwide who are unable to have an education because their inability to afford one, in some cases. In some other cases, young women fall victim to age old tradition and ideals, where they remain oppressed.
