Desigual’s entrance at the New York Fashion Week on Thursday was marked by a rather familiar sight of doggy ears, flower garlands and crowns of yellow butterflies. If Snapchat filters come to mind, you are completely right.

Models poured onto the runway in the Spanish clothing brand’s ‘70s-inspired, denim-heavy collection, complete with some faithful recreations of Snapchat’s more iconic filters as their makeup of the day. Aside from the quintessential puppy nose, whose filter has graced many a pre-teen’s Snapchat story, the models were also seen in a whimsy of deer lens, sans ears, and an adorable bee face, courtesy of MAC.

For the more 3-dimensional representations, celebrity hairstylists saved the day with fancy paper cut-outs. According to Teen Vogue, that included some rather Snapchat-worthy floral crowns in the flesh, courtesy of the hair team from Cutler/Redken!

One of the four major fashion weeks in the world, including Paris, London and Milan, New York Fashion Week makes a semi-annual series of events over 7-9 days in February and September.
