Food from the Heart’s annual Passion Ball raises $600,000 for a good cause

On April 27, Food from the Heart held its annual fund-raising gala Passion Ball, proudly presented by Audemars Piguet, at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore with over 300 guests – including donors and sponsors – in attendance.
The gala, themed La Dolce Vita, opened with a dance performance to the classic tune of Mambo Italiano. Ronald Stride, chairman of Food from the Heart, welcomed and thanked guests in his opening speech before dinner was served. Throughout dinner, guests were entertained by Mario Serio Band and The Three Waiters.
Part of the programme highlights for the evening was the auction which included items from Audemars Piguet, Singapore Airlines, and Ermenegildo Zegna. A total of $600,000 (nett of expenses) was raised from the event, with proceeds funding Food from the Heart’s work in alleviating hunger for the needy in Singapore.
