Fendi’s Logomania-Mad Capsule Collection Finally Hits Stores

If you've been browsing through the Net-A-Porter this past month, you might have had first dibs to the logo-crazy collection by Fendi that exclusively launched on the e-tail site on April 13. Fast forward to this month, and the Fendi FF Logo capsule collection of accessories, apparel, and bags, has finally made their way to the brand's boutiques at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City. Yeap, you can actually try them on in real life.

What makes this collection ($1,150-$8,750) special is the logo itself. The squared FF motif is an archival design that the brand's creative director Karl Lagerfeld created in 1974.  Some trivia: the man first debuted the monogram which stands for "fun fur" in 1965. If the "FF" was meant to symbolise glamour and your status in the '70s, this logomania-crazy outing comprising wardrobe staples like tomboyish bomber jackets, pyjama tops, sneakers and boots is primed for street style.

One just needs to look at the paparazzi shots of celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wearing the designs from this collection and the FF motif is clearly visible, emblazoned unapologetically on apparel and shoes, while bags feature a more subdued take on the logo. The designs are further divided into two categories: in a traditional tobacco colour scheme (for fans who love a more vintage look) and in a modern black and white style if you prefer a starker look.
