San Francisco was recently rated the most dog-friendly city in the US, and the most pet-friendly hotel in this city is Hotel Nikko. The rooftop has been renovated to have a grassy dog run where you can throw your tennis balls (provided by the hotel) for your pooch. They even have their own in-hotel dog who holds the job title “Canine Operating Officer”. They do charge US$50 per night per pet.

The Langham is the only luxury hotel in Sydney to have pet-friendly accommodation. Their ‘Pampered Pets Program’ provides owners with a dedicated room service for their pet featuring dishes made from fresh produce, free from onion, garlic and acids. Some of the dishes for your pet include quail eggs, grilled salmon and beefsteak. Your pet will also receive a bag of gourmet treats upon checking in and have their own plush bed with water and food bowls. Dogs cannot weigh more than 20kg and cannot be left unaccompanied in the room.

This hotel has a strict pet policy and they only allow dogs that fall under knee height, and they are also not allowed in the restaurant during meal times. The choice item on the menu for dogs is ostrich burgers, while cats can tuck into the salmon trout with scrambled eggs.
