Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection VII unveiled in HK

 

The House of Hennessy unveiled the Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection VII on November 11 at CentralPlaza in Hong Kong. Designed by the LondonDesignMuseum’s ‘Designer of the Year’, Tom Dixon, the Hennessy X.O Exclusive Collection VII honors the celebrated cognac’s history while moving its aesthetic into new territory. The new collection was unveiled over an exclusive dinner which included the presence of Tom Dixon, Regional Marketing Director Moet Hennessy Asia Pacific, Ruby Tang, International Marketing and Communication Director for Hennessy, Eric Simonet and other honored guests and celebrities.

Tom Dixon also shared his design journey, inspiration for the Exclusive Collection VII, and his focus on design and product, to allow guests to further understand the aesthetic design concept behind the art piece. The Exclusive Collection VII is inspired by the display of precious objects and its “tessellation” motif adds to its striking new look while keeping Hennessy X.O’s iconic silhouette. Adding to the opulent aesthetic of the Exclusive Collection VII, mosaic-like patterns made by faceted copper on the carafe create endless reflections of light, referencing the elegance of precious gems.

“To me, an innovator needs to think beyond ‘now’ and look for connections between different worlds…I see a clear distinction between fashionable objects and long-lasting ones. Timeless pieces tend to build on the past in a way that hasn’t been seen before.” said Tom Dixon.
