Refined Hospitality: St. Regis Chengdu to launch in July

The St. Regis Chengdu is set to launch in July and will be the 32nd St. Regis hotel worldwide (6th in China). With an exclusive address in the heart of Chengdu’s business district, the hotel is located just mere steps away from Tianfu Square and Chun Xi Road’s high-end retail area. The 29-storey hotel is part of the new HuazghiPlaza, which is a mixed-use development comprising of four towers that will become a hub for residential living, business, entertainment and shopping. From the looks of it, it seems like the St. Regis Chengdu will set a new standard in Southwest china for bespoke service and refined elegance.

The St. Regis Chengdu creates a home for today’s entrepreneurial world traveler with a design style that infuses the Art Deco styling of the 1920’s – when the flagship St. Regis opened its doors in New York City and set a new hospitality standard – with traditional elements of Szechuan culture and the high-energy dynamism of Chengdu.

“We look forward to unveiling The St. Regis Chengdu, with its promise of exceptional service standards and refined elegance that will offer a new benchmark for modern luxury, flawless service and classic sophistication that has yet to be seen in Chengdu,” said St. Regis Chengdu’s General Manager, Richard Deutl.

The hotel will feature six distinct restaurants and lounges, along with 279 guestrooms and suites ranging from 65 square metres to 325 square metres. It will also offer the signature St. Regis Butler Service for all guests, the first for any hotel in Chengdu. The St. Regis Butlers will provide 24-hour anticipatory service and stay customizations according to the individual needs, tastes and preferences of each guest.
