Beaulieu Vineyard to Make Debut in Singapore


Wine lovers in Singapore, gear up for the approaching debut of Beaulieu Vineyard as its marks its foray into South East Asia in early 2017, starting with Singapore. The unveiling will have the brand’s Reserve Collection, Beaulieu Red Label and Napa Valley offered across selected restaurants.

Amongst some of the brand’s esteemed wines includes the 2013 Beaulieu Vineyard Rarity, which has an impressive 99-point rating by Robert Parker. Indeed, the wine brings with it an remarkable power despite its rare elegance. A suppleness leads from the aromatic wine, rounding with a gorgeous teeming of blackberry, cassis, violet and dark chocolate, with an explosively opulent flavor on the palate.

Of its near-perfect rating, Robert Parker described the wine to be “magical”. “It is a massive wine, highly extracted, and built for long, long-term cellaring,” he says. “Flirting with perfection… Inky purple/black with a gorgeous nose of pen ink, cedar wood, vanillin, crème de cassis, and blacker fruist, there’s some forest floor, full-bodied richness, and super-high extract and tannins.

The largest producer of Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa was founded by the turn of the 20th century by George De Latour, and rose to fame by the influence of winemaker André Tchelistcheff. Indeed, the winery is often accredited with defining California style wine, and is recognized by its iconic Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, amongst award-winning wines.
