At 800-ft, Alfresco 64 is the highest outdoor whisky bar in the world

Bangkok’s Alfresco 64 is a Chivas Bar at Lebua's Tower Club. The whisky maker and hotel have also partnered to create the Lebua blend, Chivas Regal's first ever blend made exclusively for one client. The Tower Club at Lebua, also home to the famous Sky Bar (which some of you may recognise from The Hangover Part II movie), boasts peerless views of Bangkok's skyline and the Chao Phraya river.

Perched 800ft in the air on the 64th floor of the Tower Club at Lebua makes Alfresco 64 - A Chivas Bar, the highest outdoor whisky bar in the world.

The Curiosity Cloud installation by Viennese design duo Mischer'traxler for champagne house Perrier-Jouet greets guests on the way to Flute A Perrier-Jouet Bar (also the highest of its kind in the world). Each mouth-blown glass globe houses a fluttering mechanical insect.

One of the highlights of Alfresco 64 to look out for is the sensorial experience of the Chivas Regal Ultis (the brand's first blended malt), using sound, smell and lighting to evoke each single malt's flavour and aroma. Five Speyside single malts from Speyside were selected to create the Ultis, which honours the five master blenders in the history of Chivas:  Charles Howard, Charles Julian, Allan Baillie, Jimmy Lang and the current Custodian Master Blender, Colin Scot
